How to tilt Google Maps in browser on PC (2021)

This is written November 2021 as I have used google maps tilt many times and now can't find it.

Good news : it's still there !! 

 why you are here ...

1. you are using google maps in a browser on a PC / Desktop

2. you want to tilt the map like you used to but can't find the setting.

answer

1. You need to be in SATELLITE mode.

2. you need to tick 'GLOBE VIEW'.

where is GLOBE VIEW ?? ... it's in the 'MORE' menu in the BOTTOM LEFT corner. 

Hover over the satellite/layer picture in the BOTTOM LEFT corner.

A horizontal menu will appear ... click MORE ... finally ... tick GLOBAL VIEW.

Make sure you are in SATELLITE mode.

then ... finally ... like you used to ...  

hold CONTROL and LEFT CLICK and MOVE MOUSE to move around.

done.

summary

1. missing link is ticking GLOBAL VIEW in hidden bottom left menu (Satellite/Layer pic in bottom left)

once GLOBAL VIEW ticked ...

2. hold CONTROL & LEFT CLICK and move mouse (like you used to)
