Capital One Classic Extra : Best current free cashback credit card ?

There's not much on offer at the moment in the Free Cashback Credit Card range.

Possibly the best free all rounder is  0.5% plus £10/year bonus (if you pay in full each month)  is  :

The good thing about this card is that most people probably have a chance of being accepted.
The bad thing is the APR at around 34.94% 

Check the eligibility rules before applying.
You probably won't get this if you don't have a credit history

Card main details :
34.94% APR
0.5% cashback on all purchases (e.g. 0.5p per £1, 50p per £100)
If you pay in full on time, a £10 bonus per year

Even though 0.5% sounds miserly, if you use the card for all purchases (e.g. groceries) then you could spend £6,000+ a year, which would be £30+ a year plus £10 bonus if you pay in full each month. It's better than nothing I guess.

Main rule : Don't use it to get in debt with.

It's been a while since I last sent empty printer cartridges to a recycling company for money. The last time I sent then to therecyclingfactory.com, only to find I can't get the money until I've sent a certain amount of cartridges (5 or something). With N&J, at least I get paid after sending 2 or more, and it's still freepost. Both have their +ve and -ve, but I guess for the small time user N&J is my choice.

Qmee for cash when searching

Qmee click ads for cash :  You install the Qmee app to your browser and when you search in websites like Google, Bing, Yahoo, Amazon or Ebay it may give you relevant ads on the left side that pay you when you click them. It seems to work especially well on Amazon searches. At the moment seems to be for USA and UK (they are a UK company). So far it looks great. You can even cash out to your paypal at anytime (or donate to charity). It's all very simple.

A Lender Be : Funding Circle, Ratesetter and Zopa (summary post)

Just read about some peer to peer lending websites in The Daily Mail. I will need to digest the info but for now here are the basic details including an article in The Daily Mail:

Recycling non-virgin printer ink cartridges : hard to find a fair price

Aim : to make money sending back a printer ink cartridge that was itself recycled (known in the industry as 'non-virgin')

There is not as much money on offer for 'non-virgin' (recycled) printer ink cartridges. Recyclingfactory.com do not accept non-virgin cartridges. The best deal I could find for my HP301 non-virgin black cartridge was around £1.25 each from N&J Inkjet Recycling

You can sell your stuff on Amazon.
Below is a rough estimate of fees for selling a CD

Easiest way to get an idea of current prices is to type in the barcode (books,cd,dvd etc)
Quite a lot taken in fees : £.75, plus about £0.25, plus 15% (cd)
Amazon will charge buyer for £1.26 for UK cd delivery to offset your shipping costs
